Bottin died Saturday afternoon, Sept. 26, 2020, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church in St. James. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the number of guests for the visitation will be limited in the funeral home at any given time. The public is also encouraged to practice social distancing guidelines throughout the visitation and service and to please wear a mask. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.

Loretta Lou Hanson was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Gregory, Tripp County, S.D., to Maylon and Laura (Krueger) Hanson.

Survivors include: her three children, Linda Dunker of Mountain Lake, Kevin Bottin of Mountain Lake, and Jeffrey Bottin of rural Odin; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and brother, DeLyle Hanson of Holmen, Wis.
