Todd Lee Rosenberg was born on Feb. 25, 1967, in Minnesota, the son of Floyd and LaVonne (Ratike) Rosenberg. Todd attended school in Welcome, later graduating with the class of 1985.

He then attended Albert Lea Vocational for diesel mechanics. He later returned to the family farm in Rolling Green Township, rural Welcome-Fairmont.

On May 25, 2007, he was united in marriage to Margaret Rosenberg at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome, Minn. Todd often said the day they got married was “the best day of his life.” After their marriage, they lived on the farm, where Todd continued to work until the time of his death. Todd was proud of the legacy he was building and that he got to work next to his dad every day.

Todd served on the Rolling Green Township Board and ran the grader for 20+ years. In his earlier years, he was active in the racing community and formed many lifelong friends. It was also at the races where he met Margaret.

Todd enjoyed spending time with his family at their cabin on Tuttle Lake. He filled the days by taking his godchildren Courtney and Tanner tubing, enjoying the new friendships they made with the Tuttle Lake Supper Club, and quiet moments with his wife. Fishing together, especially ice fishing, was one of their favorite past times. Todd was very proud of his grandbabies and being called “Papa Todd.” He would even come in early from the field just to spend a little more time with them.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Rosenberg of rural Fairmont, Minn.; three sons, Brian and Kristen Rosenberg of San Antonio, Texas, Jason and Sara Rosenberg of Trimont, Minn., and Matthew Hansen of St. Cloud, Minn.; four grandchildren, Hannah, Eleanor and Amelia Rosenberg, Lennyx Rosenberg; father, Floyd Rosenberg of rural Welcome, Minn.; brother, Travis and Kimberly Rosenberg of rural Fairmont; mother-in-law, LaVerne Kusler of Sherburn, Minn.; many brothers and sisters-in-law on the Kusler side. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends; and his dog, Diesel.

Todd was preceded in death by his mother, LaVonne Rosenberg; father-in-law, Wilmer Kusler and other relatives.
