WINNEBAGO — A funeral service for Sharon Rose Jenkins, 77, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior’s in Winnebago, with burial and lunch to follow.

Jenkins died in her sleep Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at Clarkson Mountain View Health Care Facility in Rapid City, S.D. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago.

Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sharon was born June 7, 1942 in East Chain Township, Martin County, to Wayne L. and Dorothy (Hamelau) Whiteford.

Survivors include: her son, Dean Jenkins of Ludlow, S.D.; two grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Styve of Mankato, Doris Weakly of Payson, Ariz., Ardis Josephson of Mankato, Wanda Benoy of Dixon, Ill.; and brother, Kevin Whiteford of Waseca.
