TRIMONT — Funeral services for Dustin Nelson, 25, of Trimont, Minn., will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2019, at Zion Lutheran Church in Fraser Township, rural Fairmont, Minn., with Rev. David P. Schultz officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.

Dustin died Saturday evening, June 1, 2019, at his home in Trimont, Minn. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Zion Lutheran Church in Fraser Township, rural Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

Dustin Craig Arlin Nelson was born July 1, 1993, in Mankato, Minn. He was baptized on July 2, 1993, in Mankato, Minn., and later confirmed on May 4, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church in Fraser Township. Dustin received his education at Martin County West School, where he graduated with the class of 2012.

He then was employed at various jobs in the area. Dustin then settled into livestock hauling for Double D Dispatch in rural Fairmont.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Dustin enjoyed motocross, four-wheeling and riding two wheels, four wheels and finally 18 wheels. You could find him working on engines or dirt bike riding.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel “Joe” and Amy Nelson of rural Truman; daughter, Haydyn Nelson and her mother, Kali Swanson of rural Jackson; brothers, Luke (Nicole) Nelson of Fairmont, nephew, Levi Nelson and niece, Adley Nelson; and David Nelson of Trimont; sister, Dani Nelson of rural Truman; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Darlene Nelson of Mankato; maternal grandparents, Doug and Lorna Bicknase of rural Fairmont; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Dustin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Merlin and Luella Nelson and Norman and Audrey Bachmeyer; maternal grandparents, Marvin and Elnora Bicknase and Delbert and Ann Thompson; and other relatives.
