Judy was born Aug. 14, 1948, in St. Peter, Minn., to Gerald and Doris (Hauskins) Cooley.

On Jan. 2, 1968, she married the love of her life, Doug Spencer. Together, they raised three children while running her in-home beauty shop.

She was also a Sunday school teacher at the Elmore Methodist Church for many years, where she made a lasting impression on all the children.

She loved to spend time with her family at the lake, fishing and rock hunting. She will always be remembered for being a very generous and funny person who was always willing to lend an ear and give advice when asked.

Judy is survived by her endearing husband of 51 years, Doug; her sons, Stacey, and Brandon (Jennifer); daughter, Heather (Eric) Schultze; grandchildren, Hunter and Morgan; her brother, David (Susie) Cooley; sister, Cheryl (Jim) Becker; sister-in-law, Sandy Cooley; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Doris; brothers, Gary and Dennis; sister, Kathy (Dale) Spencer; infant sons, Brett and Chad; nephews, Todd and Trent Becker; grandson, Zachary Spencer; and her special friend Dorothy Richardson.
