Fern Swanson
ARMSTRONG – A funeral service for Fern Swanson, 96, of Armstrong, Iowa, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church in Armstrong. Interment will be held at a later date in Swea Township Cemetery, Swea City, Iowa.
Swanson died Friday, May 1, 2015, at Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
Henry-Olson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Fern Esther (Olthoff) Swanson was born Sept. 7, 1918, in Lakota, Iowa, the daughter of Rufus and Minnie (Seiblod) Olthoff.
Survivors include: her twin sister, Faye Sachs of Armstrong.
