Family Game Night on Friday at TPS

TRUMAN — The Jaguars girls’ basketball team will play tonight at Granada-Huntley-East Chain school in Granada, on Friday, Jan. 16 at Loyola in Mankato, and on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at USC. School board OKs $602K bid for roof work

FAIRMONT— With three bids received for the upcoming roofing project across both school buildings, the Fairmont School Board approved a $602,570 bid from Schwickert’s Tecta America in Mankato at their meeting on Tuesday. This beat out a $615,500 bid from Granite City Roofing out of Sauk Rapids and $814,100 from McDowell Company and Waite Park. FAIRMONT— On Monday the Fairmont Economic Development Authority (FEDA) approved its second Local Housing Trust Fund application, but not without some discussion first. FEDA is the loan committee for the newly established Local Housing Trust Fund. The application it discussed on Monday was for 1125 N. Main St., a single-family rental property.
