BLUE EARTH— A discussion on adjusting the lunch prices at the Blue Earth Community and Senior Center was held at the Blue Earth City Council meeting on Monday. WELCOME — During the Welcome City Council meeting on Tuesday, Bolton and Menk Engineer Travis Winter reported on the Facility Planning Document for improvements to the waste water plant and Dugan Street from County Road 25 to 5th Street. FAIRMONT— After a lengthy discussion on Tuesday, the Martin County Board of Commissioners decided by majority vote to allow both shotgun and rifle hunting beginning with the 2026 deer season. The state of Minnesota for decades has had a statute on the books that maintained the whole state be shotgun-only for deer hunting.
