Thanksgiving break approaching

TRUMAN — A Holiday Bake Sale by Martin County Humane Society in Fairmont will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Fleet Farm Supply/Ace Hardware in Fairmont. Delicious baked goods just in time for the holidays. There are gluten-free options available.

Lewisville American Legion Post 561 will have a Celebration of Life for Leon Olsen from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22.

A Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther Jaguars basketball game will be on Tuesday in Granada.

The Truman Public School will be on Thanksgiving Break from Nov. 26 to Nov. 28 and Dec. 1 for Professional Day.

Trinity Lutheran Church of Truman will have their Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service at 6 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 26. ELCA will be serving pie and coffee after the service.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Truman will have a Thanksgiving Day Worship Service at 9 a.m.

St. John’s Lutheran Church of Antrim’s hot beef commercial dinner, Dec. 7.

The annual Truman Sorority shopping spree will take place at the Community Building on Tuesday, Dec. 9. Children in grades kindergarten to 6 are welcome to shop from 3:30 to 5 pm. Santa plans to be there.

Tots for Truman can be dropped off at Boekett Building Supply or Elizabeth Chevrolet in Truman.

The Truman Public Library is having a food drive until Dec. 22.
