More Halloween activities in Truman
TRUMAN — Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman will have a family-friendly Halloween party from 5 to 7 pm on Oct. 31. Activities include games, crafts, tricks or treating and snacks. All are welcome.
The Lewisville Legion will have a Spooktacular Halloween Party with karaoke on Nov. 1. This event is open to the public, bring friends.
Daylight Saving time is ending. When you go to bed on Saturday night, remember to set your clocks back one hour. Enjoy one extra hour of sleep.
St. James Lutheran in Northrop will have its annual Harvest Dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2. Turkey commercial, assorted salads, pies and desserts will be served. Takeouts will be available. Free-will donations will be accepted.
The Truman City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 3. All meetings are open to the public.

The Trinity Lutheran youth group will host an election night soup supper from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4. They will serve chili, baked potato with all the fixings and a beverage for a free-will offering. Come for a great meal and community fellowship.
Recycling Day is on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Recycling containers should be curbside by 7 a.m. with all cardboard broken down.
