Kiwanis to meet

Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesdays at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The meeting’s speaker will be Fairmont Mayor Lee Baarts. Mayor Baarts will be updating the members present about the latest happenings in Fairmont. The public is invited to attend.

Supper at Community Covenant

Wednesday Night Supper will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at the Community Covenant Church in Huntley. The menu includes tacos, nachos, potato oles and a dessert. Free-will donations will be accepted.

Soup luncheon at St. Martin’s

The St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Fairmont will hold a soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 6. The menu includes a variety of soups. The proceeds will benefit Heaven’s Table Food Shelf. Delivery is not available. To make a take-out order, contact (507) 238-2686.

Any Ability Adult Activity

GHEC presents “Spring Break”

The Granada-Huntley-East Chain (GHEC) School Theater Department will present its production, “Spring Break,” at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, in the small gymnasium at GHEC in Granada. CER Face Yoga

A face yoga workshop will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 9, in a Zoom meeting. Learn simple exercises that will rejuvenate your face. You will need a regular teaspoon for a few of the exercises and a little of your favorite facial moisturizer. CER Vitamins and Herbs

A vitamins and herbs informational workshop will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 in a Zoom meeting. Learn the seven guidelines that determine if a supplement is well balanced or a waste of money. The instructor does not sell any supplements. The class will discuss what current research says about antioxidants, phytochemicals, anti-aging nutrients, colloidal minerals, chelated minerals, sustained release formulas, as well as collagen, glucosamine chondroitin, melatonin, ginkgo, ginseng and echinacea.
