FAIRMONT — Mass of Christian Burial for Beverly Joan Villeneuve, 94, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. A private family burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Fairmont. A time for remembering and celebrating the life of Beverly with food and adult beverages will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2024, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont.

Beverly passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Beverly Joan (Brow) Villeneuve was born Oct. 8, 1929, in Superior, Wis., the daughter of Aloisious and Elsie (Drolet) Brow. Beverly received her education attending school in Duluth, Minn.

On Aug. 7, 1949, Beverly was united in marriage to Francis “Frank” Villeneuve at the Cathedral in Duluth, Minn. The family made their home in California, Worthington, Minn., Austin, Minn., Wilmar, Minn. and Albert Lea, Minn., before making the move to Fairmont. Beverly worked for the Fairmont Area School District in food service from 1974 until her retirement in June 1996.

Beverly was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont where she was active in the St. Thomas Circle. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed her meetings with all the gals from the area. Beverly loved volunteering her time to events and activities that were close to her heart. She especially took great pride in helping with the local bloodmobile events. In her spare time, Beverly enjoyed sitting quietly reading and working on crafts.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cary Villeneuve (Chelaine), Heidi Villeneuve-Schlomann (Jeffrey), and Todd Villeneuve (Denise); son-in-law, Darwin Roberts; grandchildren, Shasity Roberts, Shane Roberts (Teresa), Shannon Boirn (Stevie), Tiffany Roberts, JoNae Villeneuve (Jake), Ethan Villeneuve (Lexi), Payton Villeneuve-Schlomann, Audrey Villeneuve, Frankie Villeneuve (Sabrina) and Tessa Villeneuve Pike (Kale); great-grandchildren, Cody Roberts, Justin Roberts, Elizabeth Illig, Mitch Illig and Jacob Roberts; great-great-grandchildren, Bently Roberts, Braxten Roberts, Jaxton Roberts, Kyzer Roberts, Genesis Talamantes, Quinn Villeneuve Pike and Asher Villeneuve; niece, Rosan Rendahl; as well as many other extended family and friends.
