CEYLON — This is the first Saturday of a new month so the congregation at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Ceylon will have a 5:30 p.m. service tonight, July 6, with communion. Circle of Faith parishes will hold Sunday services in July at 9 a.m. at Waverly Lutheran Church and 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert will have Sunday services at 10 a.m. and their partner church in Sherburn, St. John’s Lutheran, will have an 8:30 a.m. service with coffee hour at 9:30 a.m. this summer. All area residents are welcome to join these congregations for services.

The Ceylon Area Historical Society Museum will be open from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, July 7, as part of their summer hours on the first Sunday of June, July and August. Check out all their interesting items from the city, school, area and legion. Ceylon has a very nice museum.

Tuesday coffee hours in July continue from 8:30-10 a.m. July 9, at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn just south of I-90. Some asphalt has been laid but watch for signs to access the church due to Highway 4 construction. The remaining Tuesdays in July are planned for this location. The first Tuesday coffee hour was not held due to construction. Join friends and neighbors for good

coffee and fellowship.

American Red Cross blood drives will be held noon to 6 p.m. July 15 at St. Paul’s Church in Welcome and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 22 at St. Vianney Church in Fairmont. The Sherburn Theatre is featuring the movie ‘Despicable Me 4’ this weekend, July 5-7 and next weekend, July 12-14. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 4 p.m. on Sundays.

• The high stakes Puzzle Race at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on July 27, at the Lake Belt Bar and Grill in Ceylon.
