WELCOME — Congratulations to Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome on their 150th anniversary. They will be having a joint communion service for all Circle of Faith parishes and guests at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 19, followed by a light lunch. That is quite a milestone.

The Welcome Legion Auxiliary will meet 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 20, at the Welcome Legion Hall. All members are urged to attend. Plans for the Memorial Day program will be discussed. The Memorial Day program for Legion and Auxiliary members and community members will be held 9 a.m. on May 27, at the Legion Hall. The speaker will be Jeff Hagen. All residents are welcome to remember that freedom isn’t free with the Legion members.

Tuesday coffee hours in May continue from 8:30-10 a.m. on May 21 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome. Join friends and neighbors for coffee, goodies and great fellowship each Tuesday.

American Red Cross blood drives will be held 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, May 20, at St. John

The Welcome Summer Festival is scheduled for July 19-21 and the committee has 500 tickets for prizes at $10 a ticket. The prizes are: Ooni Pizza Oven, $400 cash, Yeti Bundle, two certificates for $100 at Welcome Meats. The winner must be 18 years old and need not be present to win. They hope the winner will be present at the drawing at the stage during the Welcome Summer Festival. Plan to attend.
