CEYLON -- The Lake Belt Bar and Grill will have their 500-piece Puzzle Race at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. today, July 27.
The Sherburn Theatre will feature the movie 'Twisters' at 7 p.m. tonight, July 27 and 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 28. They reported that Highway 4 is open.

Waverly Lutheran Church, part of the Circle of Faith parishes, will celebrate their 125th anniversary
on Sept. 8 with a joint service. Part of that day will be a meal at noon. Reservations are due by Aug. 8 to the Circle of Faith office by calling (507) 728-8259.
Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Ceylon will have their 5:30 p.m. communion service on Aug. 3. Area residents are welcome to join them. These evening services are offered on the first and third Saturdays of the month.

There are 2 positions on the Ceylon City Council and the office of Mayor of Ceylon that will be on the Nov. 5 election. Filings of affidavits of candidacy for the positions begins July 30 to August 13. The office of Mayor is for a two-year term, and the two council members are for four-year terms. Filings can be made at the city hall in Ceylon.
