Volunteering is a good way to meet new friends and show you care. A good way to do this is to join the Truman Lions Club. The Truman Lions Club raises funds for many local causes, such as the Truman Days parade, Truman swimming pool, groups and individuals in the community. Their once-a-month Burger Bash is one you won’t want to miss. It’s held 5-7 p.m. the third Saturday of each month, from September to May. More information can be found on lionsclub.org or https:www.facebook.com/groups/696078248266970.
