Have you heard about the Holiday Light Parade the Truman Fire Department is holding, beginning 6 p.m. Saturday. The route is 3.75 miles and covers most of downtown Ciro Street, past Heartland Senior Living, Graf Park, THS, Southwest Apartments, Truman Community Building, and more. Sunday, Dec. 19, is the day to fly your American flag at half staff to honor those we have lost to COVID. Governor Tim Walz has requested us to do this as a way of showing the families that have lost a loved one that we care.
