Tuesdays Bible Class is held 9:30 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Area residents are invited to join them.

Thursdays the Coffee Lovers group is meeting 8:30-10 a.m. in the back room of LegendsII in Ceylon. Area men and women are invited to join them for fellowship and coffee.

Next Saturday, Oct. 2, there will be a Conference Rally for the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League 8 a.m., with the rally beginning at 9 a.m., in the area at Rost Township near Lakefield at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The speaker will be Rev Carter and Mrs. Carter who will speak about their trip to Hong Kong. There will be a salad luncheon following the rally at 11:30 a.m. The Gifts from the Heart collection is underway for the Orphan Grain Train to send to other countries.

Upcoming events also include the huge Rummage Sale and Bake Sale at Martin Luther High School in Northrop on October 21-23. There are also several Red Cross Blood Drives scheduled for area towns in October. For further
