Spice of Life Meeting to Feature A Mystery

“Spice of Life” will take place 1-3 p.m. Thursday and Oct. 21 at the CREST office, which is located at 820 Winnebago Avenue in Fairmont. CREST “Spice of Life” program is open to all caregivers/care partners whether you are registered with CREST or not. It features a fun activity you can do together, a perfect way to add spice to your lives with fun and good food in one afternoon. September is mystery month and the October activity is sure to involve Halloween. You will enjoy coffee, a snack, laughter, and a time to relax and visit with others. There is no charge for this event, but reservations are encouraged by calling the CREST office at (507) 235-3833.

Early Risers Kiwanis meet

Early Riser’s Kiwanis will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant. Featured speaker is Katherine Clymer, owner of Aurora booktique. The public is invited.

Humane Society to hold bake sale

Martin County Humane Society will hold a bake sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Fleet and Farm, 1300 N State St in Fairmont. All proceeds will help with expenses for the animals at the shelter. Everyone is welcome.
