WELCOME — St. John Lutheran Church of Sherburn will continue Tuesday coffee hours from 8:30-10 a.m. Aug. 24 and 31. Area residents are invited to join them for great brew and warm fellowship.

Welcome Legion will have their membership drive with a corn and chicken feed 5 p.m., Friday. Renew memberships in the Legion and Sons of the Legion.

Since the first Monday of September is Labor Day the senior citizens group will meet Monday, Sept. 13, instead. All area senior citizens are encouraged to join them for a noon potluck meal and fellowship to follow. Please bring a dish to pass and your own eating utensils.
