CEYLON — Ceylon Legion and Sons of Legion groups will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday at the back room of

Legends II in Ceylon. All members are urged to attend. The Legion participated in the veterans

special meal at Gomsrud Park and would like to thank all the veterans that

came.

Ceylon City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at Ceylon City Hall. All members are urged to

attend.

Coffee Lovers group will meet 8:30-10 a.m. Thursday in the back

room of Legends II. Area men and women are invited to join them

for fellowship with some coffee.

St. Paul’s Wilbert LWML ladies group will meet 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. All members

are encouraged to attend.

Upcoming events include:

• Memorial celebration of life for Richard Gibeau who passed away

this year. It will be held August 14 at the home of his son, John

Gibeau, in Ceylon.

• The Martin County Fair will be held Aug. 16-22 with entertainment

celebrities such as Diamond Rio, Mark Wills, Sandra Lee and the

Velvets, Johnny Holm, IV Play, Canyon Cowboys and Heart Song.
