CEYLON — Today is supposed to be the first day of spring. Hopefully, we are done with the snow now.

Wednesday will be the last mid-week Lenten service for area churches. The next week will begin with Palm Sunday on the 28th and Holy Week ending with Easter on April 4. Circle of Faith parishes will gather at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome.

The service is live streamed check their Facebook site for the address. The dual congregations of Our Savior’s and St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert will meet 6:30 p.m. at Wilbert. Neither of these

services will have a lunch or meal due to COVID restrictions.

Ceylon Fire Relief Association will have an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast fundraiser from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Legends II building. The fundraiser is a dine or drive-up event. The drive-up take-out orders will be by the back door of the kitchen by the alley. The menu includes pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, ham or sausage, coffee and juice. If anyone cannot attend but would like to

donate, that can be mailed to Box 201, Ceylon, MN 56121. Checks should be made out to Ceylon Fire Dept. Relief Assoc. The Ceylon Fire Department is grateful to the community and friends for their support.
