Bannister, 56, of Lakefield was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within 2 hours; fined $810, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years unsupervised probation, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, attend and complete MADD impact panel and pay for costs, no same or similar. Additional charge of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol was dismissed.

Howell, 40, of Welcome was convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $100, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 305 days for two years, credit for time served 12 days, serve as work release and sentence to serve if eligible, two years supervised probation, sentence to service 8 days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, complete post-sentence investigation, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment while in custody and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, cognitive skill training if recommended by agent, complete mental health evaluation if recommended by agent, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety, possess over 1.4 grams of marijuana in motor vehicle, driving restrictions-drive/operate/control motor vehicle without ignition interlock, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were all dismissed.

Additional charge of emergency telephone calls/communications-interrupt/interfere/impede/disrupt 911 call was dismissed.
