Dustin W. Lubben, 37, of Armstrong, Iowa was convicted of fourth-degree driving while impaired; fined $710, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, remain law-abiding. Additional charge of driving while impaired-body contains any amount of schedule I/II drugs-not marijuana was dismissed.

Joel Perez Najar, 29, of St. James was convicted of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol; fined $685, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 84 days for one year, credit for time served six days, one year unsupervised probation, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, if a Spanish speaking option is available then contact Martin County probation to assist with this, no same or similar.

Shaun E. Simmons, 37, of Good Thunder was convicted on a felony charge of theft by swindle; fined $7,153, restitution $6,068, , commit to Commissioner of Corrections 13 months, stayed for five years, sentenced to jail 19 days, credit for time served 19 days, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, pay restitution, refrain completely from gambling of any type and to not enter a casino, complete a gambling addiction assessment as directed by your agent and abide by recommendations, participate in counseling as directed by agent and abide by recommendations, provide agent receipt of out-of-pocket costs for therapy and can be credited against fine, don’t leave Minnesota with court approval, obtain employment, maintain employment, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t vote until July 1, 2023, you have the right to register to vote on that date and any time you are not incarcerated for this offense.

Justin T. Keodouangdy, 42, of Mankato was convicted on a felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession-10 grams or more of narcotic drug-not heroin; fined $185, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 60 months, give a DNA sample when directed. Additional charge of second-degree controlled substance possession-25 grams or more was dismissed.
