Kellen A. Andersen, 37, of Welcome was convicted of domestic abuse-violate Order for Protection; fined $585, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 85 days for one year, credit for time served five days, concurrent with other case, may serve as home detention/electronic monitoring, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete comprehensive assessment, complete diagnostic assessment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. An additional felony charge of first-degree burglary of an occupied dwelling with non-accomplice present, and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree damage to property-intentional damage-other circumstances, and domestic abuse-violate Order for Protection, were all dismissed.
