Mariam Abdu Adiga, 24, of Rochester received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $575, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete diagnostic assessment if recommended by probation agent, complete comprehensive assessment and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no same or similar, obtain employment, maintain employment, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Terry L. Kooiker, 43, of Sherburn was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Additional charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle was dismissed.

Julia E. Mateo Torres, 40, of Worthington was convicted of driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type (multiple licenses prohibited); fined $380. Additional charge of give peace officer false name/birthdate/ID card was dismissed.

Janice Derksen, 62, of Waupun, Wis. was convicted of speeding outside an urban area; fined $117. Additional charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle was dismissed.
