Jackie Jo Wetzel, 53, of Wells received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of insurance fraud-diverts or embezzles funds in connection with business activities; fined $85, sentenced to jail 15 days, serve as work release if eligible, three years supervised probation, sentence to service 15 days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, pay restitution making minimum payments, restitution reserved for 60 days, complete cognitive skill training as directed by agent, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional felony charges of insurance fraud-diverts or embezzles funds in connection with business activities, aggravated forgery-legal rights created or terminated, and theft by swindle, were all dismissed.
Lynelle D. Loudermilk, 40, of St. James was convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $860, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 359 days for two years, credit for time served six days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment within 30 days and follow all recommendations, complete mental health diagnostic assessment within 60 days and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms or dangerous weapons if prohibited by law. Additional charges of possess over 1.4 grams of marijuana in motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were both dismissed.
William J. Terhurne, 44, of Easton was convicted of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $360, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 72 days for one year, credit for time served 18 days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete domestic abuse batterer’s intervention program, prohibited from residing with victim until entry into domestic abuse treatment and completion of chemical dependency programming, complete NorthStar chemical dependency program and follow all aftercare recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
Giovanni A. Ballard, 32, of Sioux Falls, S.D. was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $100.
