Driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type — Jeffrey A. Korthals, 63, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Driving after suspension — Siatta D. Johnson, 41, of Coon Rapids; fined $285.

Nakita M. Lind, 33, of Elmore was convicted on a felony charge of aid and abet second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon-substantial bodily harm; fined $1,185, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 366 days, stayed for five years, sentenced to jail 30 days, credit for time served four days, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, pay restitution if filed within 60 days, complete chemical assessment within 30 days and follow all recommendations, complete diagnostic assessment scheduled for May 30, 2022, and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no contact with victim(s), cognitive skill training as directed by probation agent, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. An additional felony charge of aid and abet second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon was dismissed.

Randy A. Merrill, 50, of Albert Lea was convicted of domestic assault-commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death; fined $100, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 84 days for one year, credit for time served six days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, no contact with victim(s), complete domestic abuse batterer’s intervention program as recommended in the DVI, specific programs can be located in coordination with supervising agent, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Marc S. Trimble, 49, of Minnetonka was convicted of speeding; fined $135. Also convicted of expired registration; fined $30.
