Justin R. Decker, 42, of Blue Earth was convicted on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $100, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 15 months, stayed five years, sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days, five years supervised probation, sentence to service 12 days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, contact Department of Corrections with 24 hours of sentencing to schedule a probation appointment, complete chemical assessment within 60 days, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. An additional felony charge of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent, and misdemeanor charges of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were all dismissed.
Chad C. Olson, 52, of Fairmont was convicted of driver who’s not owner must later produce proof of insurance if required; fined $200. Also convicted of operate vehicle with expired registration; fined $115.
Lillian A. Felix, 39, of Centerville, S.D. was convicted of speeding; fined $145. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.
Kristina M. Kuester, 29, of Truman was convicted on two separate charges of no Minnesota drivers license (after 60 days residency/30 days CDL); fined $185 for each charge.
Jose Cruz Rubalcava Jr., 48, of Fairmont was convicted of driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type; fined $185. Additional charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle was dismissed.
