Driving without a valid license for vehicle class or type — Antonio Coutinho, 24, of Forest City, Iowa; fined $185.

Efrain J. Trujillo, 20, of Blue Earth received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fourth-degree controlled substance possession-except marijuana with intent to sell; fined $1,160, sentenced to jail 10 days, credit for time served three days, serve as work release if eligible, Huber is granted if qualified, three years supervised probation, sentence to service 40 hours for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment within 15 days and follow all recommendations, no mood-altering chemicals including alcohol, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance sale of marijuana mixture except small amount of marijuana with no remuneration was dismissed.

Jeremy J. Blackbear, 31, of St. Francis, S.D. was convicted of fourth-degree driving while impaired; fined $685, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 87 days for one year, credit for time served three days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, attend MADD impact panel, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed. Additional charges of driving without a valid license for vehicle class or type, careless driving-operate any vehicle carelessly on street or highway, and open bottle law-possession, were all dismissed.

Justin Armendariz Sr., 44, of Wells was convicted of domestic assault-subsequent violation; fined $660, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 363 days for two years, credit for time served two days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations, complete domestic abuse counseling/treatment program and follow all recommendations, can receive out-of-pocket expenses for program against fine, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed.
