Jeremy D. Mack, 35, of Fort Dodge, Iowa was convicted of possess ammo/any firearm-previous felony conviction; sentenced to jail 365 days, credit for time served 365 days, waived fine and surcharges. Also convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; sentenced to jail 365 days, credit for time served 365 days, waived fine and surcharges, serve concurrent with count 1. Additional charge of possess ammo/any firearm-previous felony conviction was dismissed.
Jorge Torres Jr., 43, of Blue Earth was convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $707.75, restitution $45.75, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 358 days for two years, credit for time served seven days, two years supervised probation, sentence to service 16 hours for indeterminate, pay restitution, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, no contact with victim(s), stay reasonable distance away from victim’s residence, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charge of possession or sale of stolen or counterfeit checks was dismissed.

Friesen, 39, of Eagan was convicted of fifth-degree assault; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 86 days for one year, credit for time served four days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment within 30 days and follow all recommendations, no contact with victim(s), no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, don’t enter bars, liquor stores or other establishments that serve alcohol as their primary source of income, don’t enter Al’s Bar in Easton, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law.
Also convicted of fourth-degree damage to property-intentional damage-other circumstances; fined $570.32, restitution $495.32, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 86 days for one year, credit for time served four days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment within 30 days and follow all recommendations, no contact with victim(s), no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, don’t enter bars, liquor stores or other establishments that serve alcohol as their primary source of income, don’t enter Al’s Bar in Easton, pay $50 monthly restitution payments, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional felony charge of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, were both dismissed.
