Speeding — Evalina G. Rastelli, 18, of Santa Barbara, Calif.; fined $225.

Augusto A. Marquez, 23, of Hanska was convicted on a felony charge of second-degree controlled substance sales-10 grams or more of a narcotic other than heroin within a 90-day period; fined $2,285, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 48 months, stayed for five years, sentenced to jail 120 days, credit for time served 21 days, defendant may make arrangements to serve remainder of jail time in Blue Earth County Jail at own expense, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete chemical assessment within 45 days after completing jail sentence, follow recommendations of evaluation, pay $200 restitution, sign release of information for discharge summary from Montare Behavioral Health Center and comply with all aftercare recommendations, comply with all recommendations of mental health providers including remaining medication compliant, comply with all transfer requirements so probation can be transferred to county of residence, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain employment, maintain employment, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charges of first-degree controlled substance sales-17 grams or more within 90-day period, and third-degree controlled substance possession-10 grams or more of a narcotic other than heroin, were both dismissed.

Wyatt B. Wentland, 18, of Trimont received a stay of adjudication on a charge of speeding; fined $300, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no traffic-related charges or convictions.

Lance R. Waldee, 50, of Sherburn received a stay of adjudication on a charge of malicious punishment of a child; sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, defendant may travel to Iowa for employment purposes without having to let probation agent know each time, participate in individual therapy and family therapy as directed until appropriately discharged, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, remain law-abiding, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete cognitive skills programming as directed by agent, refrain from any new assaultive behaviors, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charge of domestic assault-subsequent violation was dismissed.

Travis J. Anderson, 45, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a charge of expired drivers license-person over the age of 21; fined $50, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, renew drivers license within six months.
