Domestic assault-misdemeanor-intentionally inflicts/attempts to inflict bodily harm on another — Matthew D. Ciara, 37, of Brighton, Mass.; fined $485. Sentenced to jail 90 days stay 87 days credit for time served: 3 days, one year unsupervised probation.

Teejay R. Reinke, 31, of Elk River was convicted on a misdemeanor charge of unsafe equipment; fined $125. An additional misdemeanor charge of expired registration; fined $30.

Cheayanneia-Lyn P. Shumski, 25, of Fairmont was convicted on a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault-misdemeanor-intentional inflicts/attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $300. Sentenced to one year supervised probation, attend individual therapy as directed by agent and follow all recommendations, fine to be credited for any out of pocket expenses for the counseling, complete chemical assessment, follow all recommendations of evaluation, no same or similar, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation officer as directed, tell probation officer within 72 hours if have contact with law enforcement, tell probation officer within 72 hours if are charged with any new crime, tell probation officer within 72 hours if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with the search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property and things as directed by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, Do not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state.

Tuffy B. Schulz, 26, of Fairmont was convicted on a misdemeanor charge of obstruct legal process-interfere with Peace Officer; fined $185. Sentenced to jail 90 days, stay 84 days for one year credit for time served: 6 days, one year unsupervised probation.

Steven D. Willette, 54, was convicted on a felony charge of theft-by swindle; fined $10,513.95. Sentenced to commit to Commissioner of Corrections-MN Correctional Facility-St. Cloud, 17 mo., stay for five years, local confinement-30 days, stay 30 days for one year, five years supervised probation, if the defendant were to pay $3000 per year towards restitution each year, the jail term can continue to be stayed, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation officer as directed, tell probation officer within 72 hours if have contact with law enforcement, tell probation officer within 72 hours if are charged with any new crime, tell probation officer within 72 hours if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with the search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property and things as directed by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, Do not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, give a DNA sample when directed, obtain employment, maintain employment, pay restitution in the amount of $10,413.95.

Michael A. Hatfield, 47, of Fairmont was connected on a felony of violate No Contact Order within 10 years of the first of two or more previous qualified domestic v; fined $885. Sentenced to jail 60 days, credit for time served: 45 days, five years supervised probation, commit to Commissioner of Corrections-Mn Correctional Facility-St.Cloud, 18 mo, stay for five years, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation officer as directed, tell probation officer within 72 hours if have contact with law enforcement, tell probation officer within 72 hours if are charged with any new crime, tell probation officer within 72 hours if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with the search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property and things as directed by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete Domestic Abuse Batterer’s Intervention Program, or any other domestic abuse program as directed by supervising agent, No violations of an Order for Protection, follow all current and/or future Order for Protections and/or Domestic No Contact Orders, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no threats of violence, refrain from the use of any form of violence, this includes either violent behaviors or threats of violence, obtain employment, maintain employment. Additional charges of felony domestic assault and emergency telephone calls/communications-interrupt, interfere, impede, disrupt 911 call were both dismissed.

Debra D. Jensen, 60, of Fairmont was convicted of felony fifth-degree-possess schedule 1,2,3,4-not small amount marijuana; fined $1,000. Statutory stay of adjudication, sentenced to jail 3 days credit for time served: 3 days, five years supervised probation, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation officer as directed, tell probation officer within 72 hours if have contact with law enforcement, tell probation officer within 72 hours if are charged with any new crime, tell probation officer within 72 hours if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with the search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property and things as directed by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, follow recommendations of evaluation, continue to follow all recommendations of current mental health providers, provide current recommendations of providers to supervising agent, if needed complete an updated mental health evaluation or diagnostic evaluation as directed by supervising agent, complete chemical assessment, complete a chemical dependency assessment within 90 days of sentencing, follow all recommendations for care and aftercare. Two additional felony charges of fifth-degree-possess schedule 1,2,3,4-not small amount marijuana and one of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited were all dismissed.

Robert Lugo Jr., 33, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of theft-take/drive motor vehicle-no owner consent; fined $2,233.77. Sentenced to Commit to Commissioner of Corrections-MN Correctional Facility-St. Cloud, 21 mo., stay for five years, local confinement-62 days credit for time served: 62 days, five years supervised probation, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation officer as directed, tell probation officer within 72 hours if have contact with law enforcement, tell probation officer within 72 hours if are charged with any new crime, tell probation officer within 72 hours if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with the search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property and things as directed by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, give DNA sample when directed, do not register to vote or vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, cognitive skill training, participate in individual counseling, not contact with victim(s). An additional felony charge of burglary-third-degree and financial transaction card fraud-use-no consent were both dismissed.

Humberto Sauceda, 50, of Fairmont was convicted of domestic assault-misdemeanor-intentionally inflicts/attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $100. Sentenced to jail 90 days, stay 86 days for one year credit for time served: 4 days, one year unsupervised probation. An additional charge of obstruct legal process-interfere with Peace Officer was dismissed.
