Rigoberto Rubio Jr., 24, of Fairmont was convicted of driving while impaired-refuse to submit to chemical test-breath or test refusal or failure; fined $910, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, credit for time served four days, may serve remaining 26 days on home detention/electronic monitoring with alco-sensor at defendant’s expense, two years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, contact probation officer as directed, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel if recommended by agent, follow recommendations of completed mental health assessment, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign all releases of information, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charge of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol was dismissed.

Ficken, 52, of Sherburn was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $935, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, credit for time served four days, may serve remaining 26 days on home detention/electronic monitoring with alco-sensor at defendant’s expense, two years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, contact probation officer as directed, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, no driving without a valid drivers license and insurance, permit to carry is revoked during term of probation, no same or similar, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign all releases of information, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Also convicted of carrying pistol while under the influence of alcohol-concentration 0.10 or more; fined $200, sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days. Additional charges of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and carrying pistol while under the influence of alcohol, were both dismissed.

Millet M. Mendoza Rangel, 20, of St. Paul had a charge of speeding continued for dismissal; fined $125, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.

Jordan B. Byers, 31, of Fairmont was convicted of possess over 1.4 grams of marijuana in motor vehicle; fined $235. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited; fined $50.

Alfonso Torres, 52, of Winnebago was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.

Harrison M. Harr, 25, of Golden Valley was convicted of possess/sale small amount of marijuana-no remuneration; fined $135. Also convicted of speeding; fined $50. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited; fined $50.
