Kelly J. Peterson, 33, of Truman was convicted on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $6,132.70, restitution $6,047.70, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 13 months, stayed for three years, sentenced to jail 67 days, credit for time served 67 days, three years supervised probation, pay restitution (joint and several) with other charge, successfully complete outpatient treatment and schedule intake within two days of being released from custody and take first available intake date, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charge of receiving stolen property was dismissed.

Nathan J. Willett, 22, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of solicit child or believe to be a child through electronic communication to engage in sexual conduct; fined $585, sentenced to jail two days, credit for time served two days, three years supervised probation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, disclose all computers, internet capable devices or digital storage devices within the offender’s possession or control to agent, all devices are subject to search and approved monitoring software as directed by agent, refrain from using/accessing/creating/viewing/maintaining a personal webpage for a social media networking website which permits persons under the age of 18 to become members, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, submit to polygraph examinations as directed, don’t use or possess any pornographic/sexually explicit material, no contact with victim or family, no unsupervised contact with minors or vulnerable adults except for immediate family members and contact must be pre-approved by probation and treatment, seek and maintain employment or school as directed, follow recommendations of psychological-sexual evaluation as directed by agent at own expense, predatory offender registration required, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote or vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.

Danis M. Avila Trochez, 21, of Chicago Heights, Ill. was convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $185. Also convicted of marijuana in motor vehicle-less than 1.4 grams; fined $50.
