McKenzie R. Schaap, 24, of Sioux Falls was convicted of no Minnesota driver’s license; fined $185. Also convicted of marijuana in motor vehicle-less than 1.4 grams; fined $50. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia; fined $50.

Joshua C. Anderson, 23, of Winnebago was convicted of fifth-degree assault-inflict or attempt bodily harm; fined $7,791.24, restitution $7,506.24, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 87 days for one year, credit for time served three days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service 16 hours for indeterminate, pay restitution (joint and several), follow all recommendations of the chemical dependency evaluation completed on 8/20/20, no assault, no assaultive, disorderly or threatening behaviors, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law.

John M. Neal, 39, of Lake Crystal was convicted of disorderly conduct; fined $185. Additional charges of fourth-degree damage to property-intentional damage, and domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another, were both dismissed.
