Anita N. Wohlers, 32, of Fairmont was convicted of speeding; fined $145. Also convicted of failure to stop at stop signs or stop lines at entrance to thru highway; fined $135.

Leopoldo Diaz, 46, of Fairmont was convicted of driving while impaired-refuse to submit to chemical test (breath or test refusal or failure); fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, attend MADD impact panel and pay all fees, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, no same or similar.

Troy D. McFall, 27, of Minneapolis received an amended court decision on a felony charge of second-degree burglary of a dwelling; commit to Commissioner of Corrections 18 months, supply DNA sample, any financial obligations can be deducted from prison earnings.

Thomas P. Miller, 56, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of check forgery-offer or possess with intent to defraud; fined $85, sentenced to jail 120 days, credit for time served 76 days, five years supervised probation, pay restitution within first 18 months of probation, cognitive skill training as directed by supervising agent, follow all chemical dependency assessment recommendations for care and aftercare, complete mental health diagnostic evaluation within 60 days of release from jail and follow recommendations for care and aftercare, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in probation agreement, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, take medications in prescribed dosage and frequency, contact Fountain Center to setup outpatient intake within two weeks of release from jail, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.

Timothy W. Parsons, 35, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of threats of violence; fined $585, sentenced to jail 20 days, credit for time served 20 days, three years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, complete diagnostic assessment within 90 days of sentencing and follow recommendations for care and aftercare, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in probation agreement, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, no threats of violence, refrain from the use of any form of violence including violent behavior, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional felony charge of first-degree arson of a dwelling was dismissed.

Scott C. Goodrich, 36, of Elmore was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285, sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days.

Chad A. Mekosch, 45, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of possess ammo/any firearm-conviction or adjudicated delinquent for crime of violence; commit to Commissioner of Corrections 60 months, pay restitution, supply DNA sample, restitution obligation of $10,898.36 to be deducted from any prison earnings. Two additional felony charges of first-degree burglary-possess dangerous weapon, and theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent, and a misdemeanor charge of receive or possess stolen property, were all dismissed.
