Russell M. Williams, 43, of Trimont was convicted of disorderly conduct; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 86 days for one year, credit for time served four days, one year supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, no misdemeanor or greater violations of the law. Additional charge of obstruct legal process-interfere with peace officer was dismissed.

Rebecca M. Adams, 37, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $775, sentenced to jail five days, credit for time served five days, one year supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, remain law-abiding, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Brandon S. Bartolo, 32, of Swea City, Iowa, received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $1,000, sentenced to jail 32 days, credit for time served 32 days, five years supervised probation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in probation agreement, complete chemical dependency treatment program currently attending and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, comply with mental health recommendations in Iowa, do not work in any facility that stores, prescribes or administers controlled substances, remain law-abiding, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charge of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent was dismissed.

Daniel E. Conn, 31, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $785, sentenced to jail 20 days, credit for time served 20 days, one year supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, remain law-abiding, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, obtain employment, maintain employment, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. An additional felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession in school/housing/park zone, and additional misdemeanor charges of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, were all dismissed.
