FES/FHS Choir Concerts

Fairmont Elementary School will have a Choir Concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11 in the Performing Arts Center at Fairmont High School. Fairmont High School will have a Choir Concert at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15 in the Performing Arts Center.

Mocktail Class for Adults

A mocktail class for adults only will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Learn to make and sample six different mocktails with the Green Mill and Best Western staff. Registration is required, and can be completed by contacting the Martin County Library at (507) 238-4207.

Lefse Making Class

A lefse class will be at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, in the Fellowship Hall at St. James Lutheran Church in Northrop. Participants will make and learn about lefse, take home six rounds and enjoy cider, mulled wine, cheeses and snacks. Registration is required, and can be completed by contacting Instructors Heidi Koeritz at (507) 848-6091 or Hayley Luther at (507) 848-5749. The class is limited to 20 individuals. Proceeds will go to SJL School.

Pizza Ranch Special Deal Night

Pizza Ranch will have its limited-time special deal night, “2 for $22”, including two adult buffets for a discounted price of $22, beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15.

Ruby’s Pantry in Sherburn

​Ruby’s Pantry drive-through grocery distribution will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Regional Worship Center in Sherburn. The cost is $25 cash per bundle. Ruby’s Pantry offers a generous amount of food in each bundle. Items vary each month. Visit the official Facebook page (Ruby’s Pantry-RWC-Sherburn) for a partial list of included items. If you have empty boxes that would fit in a cart, bring them and as you drive through and let the volunteers know that they you are donating them.
