Trinity Lutheran-Alpha Pie Social

Trinity Lutheran Church in Alpha’s annual Pie Social will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Along with the huge variety of pies and ice cream, the event will have pork sandwiches, homemade potato salad, potato chips, homemade pickles, garden tomatoes, coffee and lemonade. It is a free-will donation meal. Profits will go to local charities and organizations.

Books and Brews

Books and Brews will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Library staff will highlight engaging reads from the 700s section of nonfiction. Video Game Trivia Night

Join the Martin County Library for Video Game Trivia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Fairmont Brewing Company. Play solo or team up in pairs to see who knows the most.
