Annual Homecoming Feed coming to FHS Partners in Education will host its annual Homecoming Feed for Fairmont Junior Senior High School from 5-7 pm, Friday, Sept. 20, at the Fairmont Mahoney Field. Food served includes brats, hot dogs, vegan plant-based hot dogs, chips, sauerkraut, cookies, and water. Should the weather be uncooperative, the event will be transitioned into the high school Commons. Attendants donating $6 are encouraged to fund Partners in Education. Sports club to host trap-shooting event The East Chain Sportsman's Club will be holding a trap-shooting event beginning at 12 pm on Sunday, Sept. 22 at the club’s grounds located a half-mile north of East Chain on 254th Avenue. All trap shooters are welcome to partake in shooting ranges, shooting rounds, 16 yards, 25 yards, boondocks oakleys, and the shooter’s choice. The grill will be on all day for meals.
