Garden Club to host Wednesday meeting City of Lakes Garden Club will hold its next meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, in Room 117 at Fairmont United Methodist Church in Fairmont. Astronomy event at the Fairmont Municipal Airport The Martin County in Fairmont is teaming up with the Minnesota Astronomical Society and will bring an event including telescope viewing and a presentation at 7 pm, Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Fairmont Municipal Airport. The presentation will preface the star and telescope viewing when the sky darkens. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age.
