Karina graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 2012 and attended Gustavus Adolphus College and Minnesota State-Mankato. She is employed at Human Services in Faribault and Martin County. Schmidt-Botzet to marry July 6

FAIRMONT — Emma Schmidt and Jeremy Botzet announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Parents of the couple are Richard and Judy Botzet of Fairmont, and Jeff and Ann Schmidt of Mitchell, S.D. Both are graduates of Augustana University and will be moving to Arkansas where Emma will be furthering her education in medicine. Jeremy is currently working in education for the Sioux Falls school system and will seek a similar job in Arkansas. A July 6 wedding is planned in Viborg, S.D.

SHERBURN — Christen Bishop and Darren Bettin announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Parents of the groom are Ronald and Lori Bettin of Sherburn. A July 2019 wedding is being planned.

BLUE EARTH — Sarah Schultz and Phillip Lundblad announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
