LAKE CRYSTAL — Karina Schroeder and Lukas Hested announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents are Rob and Michelle Schroeder of Lake Crystal, and Tim and Tammie Hested of Fairmont.

Karina graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 2012 and attended Gustavus Adolphus College and Minnesota State-Mankato. She is employed at Human Services in Faribault and Martin County. Lukas graduated from Fairmont High School in 2013 and attended the University of Minnesota and South Central Technical College. He is employed by Wakefield Pork.

An Aug. 10 wedding will be held at the Schroeder Family Farm near Lake Crystal.
