Fairmont suffers second consecutive loss, falls to Waseca

WASECA – Fairmont football drops its second game of the season after Friday night’s 28-0 defeat to Waseca. The Bluejays scored their first touchdown of the contest with four minutes to go in the second quarter after recovering a Samuel Selthun goal-line fumble in the end zone. Waseca tacked on its remaining three touchdowns in the third quarter. Kellen Klinger punched in a pair of quarterback sneaks, and Isaiah Dymeck ran in a score. Jaguars fall to Wabasso on Homecoming

GRANADA – The Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman football team fell to Wabasso on Thursday night, 44-6, during Granada’s Homecoming festivities. It’s the second consecutive Jaguar loss after they previously fell to Edgerton last Friday, 64-14. Quarterback Bowan Sill scored the lone GHEC/T touchdown with 1:44 left in the fourth quarter, scampering past the goal line for a 2-yard rush.
