GRANADA - The Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman football team fell to Wabasso on Thursday night, 44-6, during Granada's Homecoming festivities. It's the second consecutive Jaguar loss after they previously fell to Edgerton last Friday, 64-14.
Quarterback Bowan Sill scored the lone GHEC/T touchdown with 1:44 left in the fourth quarter, scampering past the goal line for a 2-yard rush. Sill finished with 93 yards on the ground and 11 in the air. Wabasso's Joe Rohlik led the Rabbits with 131 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Rabbits quarterback Drew Kemp tossed for 127 yards and two scores while also adding a touchdown with his legs.
