Londyn Bowers Sr., Outside Hitter GHEC/T/ML Bowers has been a staple of the Granada Huntley East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther volleyball program for a handful of years under the coaching of TJ Williams. From digging to spiking, Bowers always left her mark on any game she participated in. She tallied 461 kills and 370 digs during her 2025 campaign, leading the team in either category after each game played. FALCON HEIGHTS — Martin County West/Butterfield-Odin’s Evelynn Christenson placed 36th out of 160 runners at the Class A State Cross-Country Meet Saturday at Les Bolstad Golf Course, while Fairmont’s Cooper Gudahl placed 87th in the Class AA meet. Christenson, a sophomore, ran a time of 19:47.6 on the day, while Gudahl, a senior, ran a time of 17:08.7.
ALGONA, IA — North Union fell 50-15 to Bishop Garrigan in the Round of 16 of the 8-Player Pod 1 Football Playoffs on Friday. Greyson Colegrove had 41 yards rushing and 74 yards passing with a touchdown in the game, while Drake Nelson had 12 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
