MCW’s Schmidt ties for 3rd at Class A state golf
BECKER — Martin County West junior Hunter Schmidt exited the Class A state golf meet with a share of the bronze medal during Wednesday’s final 18-hole round at Pebble Creek Golf Course.

Schmidt, who posted an even-par 72 during Tuesday’s opening round, produced a 1-under 71 on Wednesday to close with a 143 to earn all-state honors for a second consecutive season.
