ST. JAMES – The St. James Area tennis courts will be filled with three tournaments that are open to all communities.

The first will start on July 16 with separated age groups and talent levels.

The age groups will be 13 and under boys, 13 and under girls, 14-to-16-year old boys and 14-to-16-year old girls.

The tournament will begin on July 16 at 8:30 a.m.

On July 17, there will be open singles for both girls and boys for more advanced players and “A” singles for intermediate players all starting at 8:30 a.m. There will also be a mixed doubles tournament starting at the same time on July 18 split into a 16-and-older group and an under-16 group.

Finally, there will be an open doubles tournament with boys and girls groups split into 16-and-older and under-16 on August 7. The open doubles tournament will also start at 8:30 a.m.

The registration deadline for the July tournaments will be two days before action begins, so July 14 for the first tournament and July 15 for the open singles, “A” singles and mixed doubles on July 17.

Registration for the open doubles tournament is due by August 5.
