JACKSON — Sabrina Segar swept all four events to lead the Martin County Area Magic to a 137.475-131.75 Big South Conference cross-over gymnastics win over the Jackson County Central Huskies on Tuesday night in Jackson.

Segar totaled 36.1 points to pocket the all-around with scores of 9.375 on the vault, 8.575 on the uneven parallel bars, 8.725 on the balance beam and 9.425 in the floor exercise.

Anna Bachenberg added three second-place finishes for the Magic by earning a 9.2 on vault, an 8.1 on the unevens and a 9.05 on the floor. Bachenberg also placed fourth on the beam (8.475) to take second in the all-around with her total of 34.825.

Hailee Schuett took third in the all-around for the Magic with a score of 33.4. Schuett finished second on the beam with a score of 8.675 and third on the unevens at 7.9, while posting an 8.55 on the vault and 8.275 on the floor.

JCC’s Payten Benda took fourth in the all-around with her total of 32.975. Benda added a fourth-place total of 8.675 on the floor for JCC.

Hannah Linse took third on the vault for MCA with a score of 8.85.

Carson Schneekloth took fourth on the vault for JCC with her score of 8.625 and third in the floor exercise with a total of 8.725.

Makayla Hotzler finished fourth for the Huskies in the unevens with a score of 7.75.

Martin County Area (10-1) is idle until competing in the Section 3A Meet at noon Saturday, March 20, in Jackson.
